How to test iOS 9 before official launch

Last year, shortly after they first announced OS X Yosemite, the people at Apple have acted a little strange. They allowed entry to everyone in a public beta for the new OS X. The latest operating system for Mac, has been extensively tested in a large number of users. The benefits were obvious. Many bugs and security holes, which otherwise would have gone unnoticed until the final version, were corrected in time.

To avoid the major issues from the iOS launch in August last year, the people at Apple have decided to initiate a beta program for iOS in September.

Because the number of users testing new versions of iOS is not very large, Apple had a pretty big scandal in the last months of last year. That was due to several serious stability problems present in the final version of iOS 8 and several others which were meant to address iOS 8.0.1 and iOS 8.0.2. To avoid such situations in the future, the company led by Tim Cook, starting with iOS 8.3 and continuing with iOS 9 will test the beta versions of its firmware on a large scale.

Clearly, such an experiment involves some risks for those enrolled, since we are talking about beta programs. But, if you decide you want to ignore the risks and have always looked with envy at those who had installed the latest beta version of the OS on their phones, you can now simply join the Appleseed program by visiting this link. In classic Apple fashion, not everyone who will be chosen to be included, but only the first 100,000 applicants.
